Is there any way of running some type of disk check on an external hard drive using the Vip722 receiver? I have only one football game stored on the external hard drive [Bama 36 - Auburn 0 - :-) ] and it will play until about halftime and then the system just locks up. I would hate to lose...

According to the DISH web page, it is nothing to worry about. They state they will be ready and not to worry about messages during the tests. You can see the message under DISH News on the home page of the website.

Make sure there are no fluorescent lights nearby. I just ran into a problem with this.

Well after a couple of days of testing, it makes no difference if I leave my TV off and try to turn on the receiver first. It still has the same problem. Nothing I can't live with, but very annoying. If anybody else has a suggestion, I will definitely try it.
