Thanks for the advice. I was thinking about doing the same thing, leasing a 622 and a 625, and then just adding the extra receivers myself. However, now that the 622 has dropped down to $499, the lease deal isn't looking all that great.

Do you own the HD Tivo, or are you leasing it? You could recoup some money by selling it on ebay. Sounds like you're in a bit of a pickle. Why don't you call D and see what the penalty would be to cancel your service. Then we can have a better idea of what to do.

Keep in mind that D's HD Tivo is MPEG 2. If and when they add new channel's they will probably be MPEG 4. Why pay for old technology?

Cable splitter won't work. you can't split the signal from the Dish lnb to the receiver. You could try a switch to sned the signal to either reciever A or B.

What if you sub to total choice and sunday ticket during FB season, then can you just put your account on hold until next season?
