Haha! Hope not! I will say though.....I can't figure out all of the hatred toward the new CUI. Sure it's different bit things change and evolve. So far I can't substantiate any of the issues and complaints. Maybe they got the bugs worked out. :popcorn

I am trying to hold out until December when I am out of contract and have the opportunity for a better deal on the Hopper 3. Hoping to make this current setup work until then.

How do you do that?

My Joey's finally finished their process after about 6 hours of rebooting, etc. One Joey (that previously had the old UI) now has the new interface with no access to the Hoppers recordings and the other (that had the new UI) is back to the old UI and had regained access to Hopper recordings.

Do you know if I will need new Joey's or another new Hopper to stay with the current configuration? This software is wreaking havoc!

Update: I checked the rest of my Joeys and have another that must have been linked to the "New" Hopper. The image on the screen is stuck on "Warning Your receiver's memory is now being programmed. Do not disturb or unplug your receiver!" The third Joey that is connected to the "OLD" Hopper...

I'm trying the pics again to make sure we are in the same page. Also, I wasn't aware that I couldn't pass the power inserter for the DPP44 through the Node. I will try it's own line to port 1 and the node out of port 2 and 3 of the switch.

Gotcha! Would it still be required if I didn't want to utilize all three tuners? In the RV I would only need one tuner (the one we are watching).

I just found that my locals are in SD on 110 so you are absolutely correct that I would still get them. Is there any problem with the rest of the setup? Can I take my Hopper with me and use this Dish/LNB setup?
