friend has dish network using a dish 500 with dish pro plus and a vip510 reciever and is having trouble locking even after the check switch, it said after the check switch that one satellite was ok but the other was n/r or something like that.....any suggestions?

do they make a add on for a dish 500 so i can pick up the 129 satellite. just wondering if that is possible. maybe like a clap on lnb or something to that nature?

i am going to have to run a check swith for camping, my question is do i setup the dish hook everything up find the satellite then run then check switch or do i hook the satellite and run the check switch before aiming and finding the satellites?

ok if i get me a dishpro twin plus which port will i hook up the one cable to port 1, port 2 or lnb in ?

when taking my dish camping is either one of these harder to align? getting different feedback saying the 500 on 100/119 is easier than the 1000 on 129. any truth to this?

i have dish network and would like to take it camping.....when using a angle caculator/finder it asks you which satellite to align with. can anybody help? i would like to get my hd channels if at all possible. also when you find your angles what is true Azimuth and mag Azimuth? PLEASE...
