    Any insight as to why the 622 UHF remote uses batteries MUCH faster than the IR remote? We primarily use the IR remote on both of our 622's. The UHF for each is in a different room and is only used maybe 10% of the time compared to the primary IR remote...but they are drained quickly just...

    L404 to download to TOA1 receivers

    Apparently received the TOA1 to 4.04 overnight or sometime today. Scan for OTA went fine and now have them back again. Hope we have a stable release now on the OTA issue. Have to say it was a nice to have Dish work with those willing to do a software change and testing-debugging.:) Jim

I did get to download my logs and send them back to Dish...hopefully this helped get a fix for those of us who had OTA before 4.01-4.03 and then lost it.     Instructions warned specifically about putting in any other USB device...so I just ran automatic routine and package it up for FedEx pickup tomorrow. :( Jim

    For those who lost OTA after 4.01 through 4.03 updates... it is being worked by the Dish folks in the beta group. Just wanted to give an update for all: I had perfect OTA until I received 4.01 as part of the beta test. None of the suggestions posted on this forum and the other one did any...

    L4.03 on 622

    True, but based on email correspondence with the Beta Group they are still working issues that came up with beta 4.01 not worked/fixed in 4.03. OTA is one of these issues. Apparently they are writing debug program to ferret out some of these problems. Jim

    If you can view HD content on an SD TV with the 942 will there be any noticeable PQ improvement over what a 508 PVR produces?
