But it is recording the SAME episode twice. But I've figured it out since then. It works fine if you first delete your manual timer and then make the pass. Then the Pass timer records the 10pm show and skips the 2am show.

But it does. I set a dish pass for futurama and it wanted to record the show at 10 and at 2am or whenever the two showings are a day. Both of those are the same episode. I already had a manual timer for the 10pm showing so it was automatically adding the 10pm one as "skipped" but it...

hmm... Mine's just not working. I've tried live tv and recorded tv. I know my TV set can do it becuase I did before I got Dish. I tried both channels and both modes on the TV. I still only had time to try TV2. Could it only work for TV1?

I wasn't confused. It wasn't your post I was quoting. Mike-D mentioned the 64 limit (and he though there was a 29 limit as well) and then he answered my question by explaining that the 64 limit is on the 721. :) everything is clear now. I hope. :)

My TV has a CC decoder. It is set to do the CC when it is on Mute. It wasn't doing it so I set it to do CC all the time and it still didn't do it. Yes, I was using the remote for the TV so I know the TV was muted and not the 522 (if mute is even possible on the 522) BTW, this is on TV2, set...

I noticed this morning that I don't get closed captioning with my Dish network setup. I couldn't find anything about it in the 522 menus. Does Dish support closed captioning? Is there anything to set up in the 522?
