    1000.4 Just for 61.5?

That satellite is weak and always has been. Try a super dish, it has awesome gain and will stop drop outs.

Im unplugging my phone lines on 2/1

Wow, as a retailer I did not know about this new charge, what a rip off in my opinion. I have to wonder what Dish Network is thinking. I guess they wanted to get some feedback from the customer. Now a dual tuner does not have any advantage, back to the stand alone at every tv to get the best...

How can I get over-the-air channels on TV2?

You won't because the second tuner is not HD ready as #1 is. Your local broadcast is HD so you will need a converter box or another HD receiver for that tv location to get locals. And don't forget the antenna signal will have to be split and ran to those locations. Hope that helps.

    More HD at what cost!

You have to admit that HD is nice when it is in combination with a great sound system and proper connections. Question is will the technology be able to keep up with the demand as other streaming technologies are advancing to meet that demand?

    Add 3rd tv to receiver

Did you split the signal? Which tuner are you splitting? Sharing the signal of #2 will allow you to take the uhf remote to the tv. But you will have to use a splitter to feed your existing tv and your new tv you are adding

Lost Sat 119 on Just on Receiver

Go ahead and save it, then back out by canceling. Unplug the unit. Press and hold the power button and another button down on the front of the receiver for as long as you can to discharge the memory(5 min). Reconnect everything, plug it back in, and don't do anything. Let the receiver go...

    Hello From Northern Michigan

Got ya thanks I got to know is there a place to rant and rave. I know it doesn't get me any where so I will quit it. But my concern for the customer and what is best always seems to have a position of what is right.

Thinking of switching to Dish...DHPP Question

I know you are right that the customer will buy it, but the economics for the retailer is out of wack, wouldn't you agree?

Thinking of switching to Dish...DHPP Question

Anyways who wants to do a service call for $19.95. How much can Dish Network devalue the retailer. Was it not just two years ago when DNS was charging $99.99 for a typical service call to the customer. And my customer would pay for it, and then call me and ask where I am at, i would say, what...

Thinking of switching to Dish...DHPP Question

I believe the system was abused by customers and retailers lost is the reason for the $25 cancelation fee. I do believe that calling your local retailer who installed your system is always best. Many times I will do free service calls for my customers or they know it will cost $75 for my trip...

    Hello From Northern Michigan

This is my first post here and I know it won't be my last. Just wanted to introduce myself and get familiar with what everyone is talking about. But I do not see anything about retailers or is it you have to join the pub to discuss Dish Network Rules and changes, how it effects the retailer...
