    Over the air... really?

I tinkered around with a Mediasonic Homeworx unit for awhile and did the job with an external USB harddrive. Was not a bad setup at all but would only populate a guide for 24-30 hrs at best.Seen the Roamio last year on Amazon for 299 with lifetime and jumped on it...You guys got a great deal...

    Over the air... really?

Thats a heck of a deal for lifetime service.Been very happy with mine here.Came with a 500Gb harddrive. What size harddrive did the ones on special come with?

    Over the air... really?

Curious dfergie what kinda deal you got on those Roamios? Lifetime service?. Bought mine a year ago from Amazon for 299.00 lifetime service.RF remote comes in very handy as I am outputting the HDMI to a splitter and watch in 3 seperate rooms.

    Over the air... really?

NBA Finals are on ABC and the Stanley Cup is on NBC..So all is good with an OTA setup there..Bowl games if I`m not mistaken ESPN has the majority of rights to those.

How far away do you guys have your dish's from the receivers?

My furthest dish is 200 feet away from the switching and another 100 feet from there inside the house. This is with good quality RG6 and Beldon compression fittings....I do have a 500 foot roll of RG11 but really see no need to use it..Skimping on good compression fittings and improperly...
