Sundance HD is now included in the Galaxy 14 distribution mux.

Sundance HD is not available yet from AMC Networks. Their HD distribution mux on Galaxy 14 only shows AMC HD, Fuse HD, WE HD and IFC HD at this time. Their SD distribution mux on Galaxy 15 includes Sundance East and West in SD. Dish can't add it in HD until AMC Networks provide it to them.

I agree that Echostar rents out their space on Echostar 9 to others, but BEinSports is leasing transponder space on Galaxy 23 which is C band. I do believe that Intelsat controls the C band portion of the satellite (Galaxy 23) and Echostar controls the Ku band portion of the satellite (Echostar 9).

I think they would be leasing space from Intelsat, not Echostar, as they are on Galaxy 23 not Echostar 9.

A beINSport mux has recently started broadcasting on Galaxy 23. There are two channels in the mux, both showing the same programming at this time. It's H.264 4:2:0 HD 1920x1080i. But the current program is obviously upconverted and stretched 4x3 SD material.
