I found out that Fox will be staying on VHF next year. I realize I'll now have to add a vhf antenna. Will this 622 allow me to receive vhf like I'm receiving UHF? I have a outside amp which allows both UHF and vhf on the save cable.

Yep, it works fine and I checked another TV in the RV and no retransmission. Where out in the country so It wouldn't have matter anyway unless the FCC drove by. Thanks Jeff

When I record a local station via OTA I lose most of my channel guide. Let's say the OTA channels are 4-50 after recording I lose all channels from 80- 400 on the guide. I then need to reboot the system. I know Dish has some software issues on this box is this one of them?

Hello. I heard Direct will have a new box that will allow a external converter box to be connected to it. This will allow the converter box to be recored on the dvr. I just updated to 722 so I'm locked in for two years. Anyone know if this is in Dishs future? Jeff

They sure don't want you to drop local programing. Yes, I picked up about 20 extra channels OTA. I never have seen guide info. on the 20 extra it just says digital service so how do I get the guide?

Hi, If I use Ota Antenna on the 722 for the HD locals then can I cancel my dish HD locals? Was disappointed I can't get fox locals on dish but can using ota antenna with the rest of the HD locals. Thanks Jeff
