In a word NO, not at this time. Buying the unit outwright is exclusive for current expressvu users only, new customers can rent only at this time. Nimiq 4/Possible Dish/Vu 1000 Updates for HD!

Well that is possible but anything could happen from know until launch date and that option my be in the works and is possible, I do know BCE investors that including myself would like to see it go another way. One thing is for sure is that transponder space in the future for Vu is a problem and...

    Nimiq 4/Possible Dish/Vu 1000 Updates for HD!

With nimiq 4 coming on line in the near future<see link>, I would have to say they would be going to a dish 1000 antenna set-up. A superdish is not the answer, with the three lnb set up on the 1000, all of Vu's birds would be seen, two birds working together and the other two in there own orbit...

Bell Expressvu HD & Starchoice HD Setups!

I have started out with Vu close to 7 years ago. My first HD reciever was the early expressvu 5000, a very limited unit to bell from dish and then came the 6000, had that for over two years then went on to the 6100 and that was the best machine by far even if dish customers didn't like there...

    More capacity on sat 82

I believe Vu will be adding two 24/7HD channels coming on line soon. What I think is happening is they are moving channels that were on 82 to 91/3 to make room for more HD and something else that is coming in the pipe!

    trouble finding bev 82W

If you are on the edge of the foot print, I would recommend the Vu 90cm dish because if you are around 50, when it rains, snows you will loose satellite signal. The other option I have been seeing in toronto is using superdish's 105 or 121 and I have seen some of the dish 1000's also, the bigger...

    Expressvu 9200 In The Flesh!!!

Hi You need the 20inch<51cm> Dish, it comes in the 9220, which has two LNB's. You then have two options, bell has a bracket that installs on the back of the dish and will house two SW-21 switchs which in turn will have two RG-6 cables running into each switch from 91 and 82,then another two...

    Expressvu 9200 In The Flesh!!!

I picked it up at bell world in markham on woodbine<brand new store, just opened, alot of reps there. I was #1 on the list for over 3 weeks and when they came in only 9220'2 and I am a existing sub, they sold it to me anyway. The reason for the 45mins is that the 9200 takes about 20-25mins alone...
