I think you hit the nail on the head with #7. The marketing strategy has to include the fact that Voom ALSO has the SD channels. Maybe that's why they are adding all of the SD channels they are now. Maybe even make an SD only package for those that don't have an HD TV to gain subs?

I don't think I like the VOD push vs. the full fledged consumer DVR. Like hbk409 stated, it gives you less control over how long you keep something, etc. Also, it allows the service provider to monitor your viewing habits a lot easier.
