    HS17-100 (For those wondering)

Folks, with the permission of the management I point you toward the written review of the Genie 2: http://forums.solidsignal.com/content.php/6581-Solid-Signal-s-HANDS-ON-REVIEW-DIRECTV-HS17-Genie-2-Headless-Server There's a downloadable PDF there as well. If you have questions, post them...

    directv revolution

I was in that same meeting where we learned about the SWM30. It's designed primarily for lodging and institutional use. For hotels that use H25s, you can run 26 of them off one SWM. (The H25 can only address 13 SWM channels so the other 2 cannot be used.) There was also this neat little rack...

    DIRECTV C61K Review

It was a pleasure to try out the C61K. It really proves how good DIRECTV has gotten at this stuff; it really "just worked." I would like to have seen a better user interface, one that actually used those extra pixels, but I understand why they didn't do that.

Solid Signal: Almost All Directv DVRs/Receivers Listed Either Discontinued or Unavailable

Hi alll, happy to explain: We're in the midst of reworking some of our procedures to better align with DIRECTV policy, and to help deal with some issues that have occured in the past that threatened to drive up costs for everyone. It sounds pretty simple but it's a lot like doing a pit stop on a...

    SWM-32 Power Suppy

Oh and I almost forgot to answer the original question which is, yes you can use both 24V power supplies at once for redundancy, it will not overdrive the SWM.

    SWM-32 Power Suppy

Actually the information out there on the internet is a little confusing and I'm happy to help explain this. There are ports for a total of 3 power supplies on the SWM-32 and you only need one. The recommended power supply is the Sonora PS2420000A. It connects to the coax power port and...

Sign the C41W Wireless Client Close to Being Released?

It's not required but it's strongly recommended. You miss out on a lot of features without it. Yes, no problem as long as the receiver is SWM-capable.

A new LNB might help that or possibly just new connections to the LNB.

DECA to Ethernet Splitter or Switch

That's the preferred method, but if you look at this pdf:http://forums.solidsignal.com/docs/CCK%20Access%20Point%20LR.pdf you can use the bottom method as well.

    AM21 Power Consumption

It uses about 10 watts if I recall. A little too much to power it through the USB port.

DECA to Ethernet Splitter or Switch

I would not use a splitter, however, running the DECA into a switch and then to the two different devices will work. It's a better idea to get a 1x2 DIRECTV splitter and use a powered DECA into the switch, then ethernet cables into the device. If you don't have a power supply for the DECA, a...

No it sounds like you got the honest deal. DIRECTV uses their own customer relationship management software to determine how and when to give out free stuff.
