I checked out the link you provided but I'm not sure that receiver can drive a motor because it's not mentioned any where, It can do the blind scan but I don't know about t its ability to drive a motor in case I decide to add one in future.

The confusing part is that when I look at satellite beam, it looks like I won't be able to catch IS23 from Marysville Washington which is really close to Vancouver Canada and yet when I type my address and satellite numbers in dish pointer I get all the coordinates for the both satellites.
