    Two recievers, one remote?

    In my living room I now have an 811 and a 501. Anyone know if the 811 remote can control the 501 thtough the VCR button or maybe the Aux button? I'm just trying to get down to one remote instead of two.

    811 seculation

    811 speculation Why does the 811 come with a remote that allows for DVR features? Do you think dish may one day have an external hard drive to include DVR functionality? :smug
