I finally got it to work yesterday. I was using the wrong skew on the lnb and using a compass on top of a metal roof does not work well... Thank you for the replies and so far everything is working good. Got a SM of 54 and a signal strength of 85. Could possibly tweak it for better numbers.

I got everything for the satellite end and is having issues finding the satellite. Satellite finder is hitting satelitte but the receiver is not (zero on everything). Any ideas? The satellite that I think I am hitting is Eulesat 117 A.

I am looking at doing a DIY install of Orby. I got a 36" FTA dish, OTA anttena, and all the cabling ran. Have not gotten a receiver yet. What single LO 10750 LNBF is recommended and what specific duplexer is needed for combining sat and anttena?

I am looking at trying to buy a diseqc 1.2 motor for a 30" dish. I cannot find one under a hundred dollars. I am wondering if there is a better deal and if so can y'all point me to the right direction please.

I finally was able to work on it again today, I took the dish off and put a level to the pole it mounts on. The pole was about 3-4 degrees off level. Reset the dish and accounted for the pole. Finaly got G19. Then used it as a reference for SES 3 and picked it up, but not getting the radio now...

It is set in 10750. What else information should I supply?

I do not know that could explain why the signal on the satellite finder keeps on spiking and dropping without moving the dish...

Where I had the dish pointed, it was west of G19 I think.

Before I moved it the signal quality was jumping around 10 to 47 percent. Now I got nothing.

I did use dishpointer.com to get the azimuth and I did skew the LNB. I just looked it up again and reset the dish. Still no luck.

They just have numbers such as $CH20.
