3 different tries to 3 different CSR's or online chatters - all are telling me $1200+ for 2 hoppers and 4 joeys. I've been with them for 12+ years, get everything but Showtime/Cinemax, have 5 receivers, Sling, and pay about $160 a month. Unbelievable...

There in lies my issue. No easy way to connect a couple of the tv's to "eachother".

Would love to. Old house, can't easily get coax from a couple of the tvs to a hopper. Current coax runs to actual dish. Rather than work hard at trying to do the wiring, I think I'll wait for them to make the change with their systems to handle VIP and h/j together.

This really sucks for me. I have an old house where i cant connect to a central hopper or 2. I need to be able to have stand-alone rcvrs. Wow. Hopefully their systems will change in the future.

i have 5 receivers. Only my 722 is hooked to 2 tvs - the rest are stand-alones. I just want to replace my 722 for a hopper/joey combo so I can get hd on both tvs. They are telling me to get the hopper, I have to return ALL of my rcvrs. This HAS to be wrong, right?

The field is always "dancing grass" - not sharp at all. I've got 50" Panasonic plasma 1080i with std Dish HDMI cable. With a previous 42" Panasonic plasma, hooked up via component, the CBS SEC football was flawless. I'd call this just a couple of clicks better than SD. The game on ABC is...

Why is this HD telecast not nearly as good (crisp) as the 3:00 game on NBC (Pats/Jets)? Both are said to be in 1080i, but this one is definitely not as sharp. Same thing with the ND/Mich game on Sat. Is this the same for everyone else? or am I really being picky?
