Very true, 1 DVR can feed one TV. MRV is just away to get around that, but you still need a receiver to feed each TV.

What do you mean "Dual Tuner"? Recording two things at once? Then Yes, DirecTV DVRs can do that. If you mean one DVR being able to feed two TVs? then no. DirecTV does have MRV in testing.

Because right now I'm not looking for a Pay TV provider(I have one of those and I'm happy with them) just a HD source until my current Pay TV provider catches up with both DirecTV and Dish in HD(Hopeful by years end is what I'm told(But I don't mind signing a 2 year contract if need be)).

Most of DirecTVs past CEOs didn't work with anything close to a multichannel provider before DirecTV.

+1 Without a SSN or CC number(And a 2 year contract) you won't get any deals out of DirecTV. The average set up cost without at least one of those is about $300(And it goes up from there after the first receiver). DirecTV will credit you back over so many month the start up fee.

This kinda gets me. Everyone here complains when DirecTV up's prices each year, yet everyone throws a fit when they remove a channel(Which is very rare) because the programmer wants to charge more and DirecTV doesn't believe that's the price the channel is worth. You can't have it both ways...
