My SG2100 has been in use since 2005 (or 2006?). The bracket isn't very strong and it may be slipping a bit but it is still working. Moving a Winegard DS-2076 with multi LNBs the whole time. Not the biggest Ku dish but it isn't all that light....

My father was in the Signal Corps in WWII. When I was young I would play with some of his old kits he had (Allied Knight kit 10 in 1 with vacuum tubes, etc.). That led to becoming an SWLer and a couple school buddies and I got the itch and our licenses when we were teenagers. What a great hobby!

Original PS3's hard hardware to emulate PS2's. The software had support for it and it has been carried forward. It seems there has been renewed interest in PS2 compatibility so I suspect they have just left it in from the early PS3 days and you will potentially see more use for it.

Watching a feed on AMC15 (105 West). Its scanning in 11733 V 6111 with FEC of 3/4 and PIDS if V308/A256/P8190. It's DVB-S and says its 1080i-60 (odd with 11733 V 6111). However, when I hit the info button on the microHD it doesn't show the "HD" indicator. It does show EPG and TTX. I can't...

Sorry I am a little confused. Is the worry the load the motor places on the receiver or signal loss of the LNB signal passing through the motor connection? Does the 2100 attenuate the signal more than a diplexer would? I haven't thought about this very deeply but would have thought that both...

The site looks good and seems to work well when accessed by Silk on the Fire. Have you tried to "side-load" the app? You can adjust a setting on the Fire to install apps from other sources.
