NPS quality on G3 is shaky enough but when the wife gets home I'm going to catch a lot of flack for not recording OReilly & Hannity. Hopefully its just a power down with storms in the Atlanta area.

Just checked and everything seems to be normal.

And now back again. Beginning to feel like a monkey whose chain is getting jerked.

As of 3PM Pacific it went down again and NPS can send the rehits but fail to get it back up for the time being.

NPS subscribers now have scifi on x4 642. The 920 receivers may need to soft boot and rehit while 922's only seem to require a rehit. SD

NPS says they will have scifi on x4 available at the latest by tuesday. Although I would agree that having multiple sources is really the best way to go having limited resources in retirement doesn't really allow me to split up what few subs i have left on an alacarte basis.

Right now Im only aware that SRL has it on x4 (ku) with NPS suggesting they will have it soon (whatever that really means). There is a master feed (on g1 I believe) but that is not available to regular subscribers.

If it is not mapped into your receiver you may have to go back to g1 3, unplug receiver for 30 seconds and download updated map, then go to the NPS website and get a rehit on your authorizations.

Also might note that using a 922 (probably a 920 as well) many of the programs on generics pop up as being unable to locate ratings info. To clear the message and pull up a picture you might have to hit options 6-4-4-enter-info. Then every 15 minutes tap the right or left arrow. SD

I gave up on the names long ago. I can't make any changes on the 4DTV 922 but both of my FTA receivers allowed me to rename to just the degree slots and band (ie 123K, 123C, etc.
