the line in was split... good point though... I know you can hook up a slave unit... but I also know the line was split somewhere... he said the bedroom TV has not woked in a while... I think when they finished their basement the split the line in... rather then making it a slave unit.... but...

What degree and elevation is the sat at so I can check it the next time I'm up on the property I'm moving to in April.

can the direcway work with a wireless router? I have two laptops running from a linksys wireless router.... just curious

How did you get into installing direcway? Is that part of DirecTV?

I did my first wll fish the other day.... lol... miss judged it all together... took me 3 hours.... there aways the painful first I guess...

I thought you could since it has to ports out... now I just need to know how to set it up to see both... Is it as simple as connecting both ports to the LNB?

thanks but I found that out the hard way... the question is can I see both 110 and 119 signal through the ACCUTRAC at the same time by connecting both ports to the LNB?

I like that.... do they call 1800directv or the activation number I call? I have noticed 50% of the time when I call the activation number that I go through my speal... serial, RID, and access number.. then they ask to speak tp the customer which takes another 5 or 10 minutes... I usually use...

lol... well now I know what it stands for but I still don't know what it is... I'm a contractor if that helps... The shop I work out of has contractors and direct employees... although the contractors represent about 70% of the installers.
