i don't keep mine hooked up. the phone jack is on the other side of the room. i do hook it up one or two days a week though with a long phone line. it'll remind you to hook up and check messages. hope this helps.

I did have that switch. I have pulled the cable and run it straight through. I can pick up 101 and 110 but not 119 today. I have to believe that it's an obstruction problem and will relocate the dish and see if that helps. Thanks for the help! I'll post results. Ken
