Great news for all of us D* HD customers in the Chicago area. I received a return e-mail from Comcast Sportsnet Chicago that the HD version of this channel will begin tomorrow September 27!!:D

Now that some of you have had this HD DVR for a couple of weeks. Is it worth getting? Or are there some kinks that need to be worked out, similar to when the H20 came out? Might it be better to wait to some of that get's fixed or is the picture quality as good or better than the H20? I want...

Any of you guys in the Chicago area lose your local HD signals tonight (Sunday)? I know we have had some storms but my national HD channels come in fine but no local HD. It seems they lose signal faster than the national HD.

I have the H20-100 model, and I have noticed that the picture will sometimes freeze up and stay that way for awhile. Anybody else have that problem? Anyway to fix that?

I live approximately 45 miles from the transmitter sites in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Will I need an outdoor antenna? Also, any recommendations on antennas that will get good reception from that distance?

Yesterday I replaced my old H20 (audio problem) with a new one that Directv sent me. The CSR had me swap out my access card from the old H20 to the new one. The new one never downloaded the 0F06 software. My question is, when a software update is downloaded, does it go onto the access card...

Can I connect my D* Samsung DVR to my H20 and watch the movies, shows I have stored on there or does the DVR need to be connected straight to my HDTV?

Does anybody know if D* has any plans to add these 2 stations to the Chicago market so we can see our local teams in HD? Or am I dreaming that this may happen anytime soon?
