Help. I have two DVRs in my home. Both R15. They have both begun to stick when we try fast forward or skip. That is we hit either the fast forward or skip button (doesn't matter which) and it goes through about a commericial and a half then freezes. Has this been happening to others? We don't...

Yah, I think mine are not HD, but have two tuners.

Is one cable for locals and the other for the rest? I think I get both locals and others on the single cable upstairs.

I don't do anything myself. LOL. I don't and never did have HD in any room. Why would they have two lines running in some of my rooms and not all?

Can I change receivers in my own house? I have DVR in my living room and no DVR in my attic. I want to switch them because the attic room is warmer in the winter. What I have noticed is my DVR has to cables running into it where as my attic box has a single wire running into it. Anything I can do?

Yeah, I do have a long cable run with two connection spots. The package reads "In-line signal amplifier for satellite dish" The numbers on it say 15-1170 then under that reads 50-2200.

Thanks. I heard (from bad sorce obviously) that it would give me a little boost. I have been getting constant 40 strength on my locals (very edge of fringe area) and when night comes, they go in and out every 10 seconds or so. I thought it might give it a little boost to maintain through the night.

I am on the Fringe of a spotbeam that carries Cleveland locals. At night the channels go in and out. Could I get a "stronger" LNB to get a little extra strength?
