    With VUE on the Roku you can select a recording show hit the * key and select Play From Beginning. I do that with TWD on AMC all the time.

    Found this on The Verge review; Does DirecTV Now support 5.1 surround sound? Yes. Currently 5.1 audio output is available only on Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV.

    I've seen a report that DirecTV Now has 5.1 sound. Is that correct? I know PS Vue does not and though thats a bummer it wasn't a deal killer for me.

    Signed up strictly to get the ATV for $105. After 3 months I'll decide whether I want to keep it or not based on the updates, if any.

    Yep but what I am saying is the MLBHD channel 213 said it was blacked out and the channel search said it was not on any other channel except it was on channel 214-1 ( or whatever it was ).

    It was on MLBHD channel 213. It said it was blacked out but the game was Detroit/Chicago or Cleveland/Texas. Last time I checked I was not in the local viewing area of those teams. However the Det/Chi game was on the alternate MLB channels and I could view it there.

    I am in North Carolina and the guide says these games are on, Cleveland Indians @ Texas Rangers or Detroit Tigers @ Chicago White Sox, but my channel is blacked out. Now there are two alternate channels that are both carrying the Det/Chi game, one in HD and one not. Whats going on?

    I won't miss what I don't have (MRV) but terribly miss what I did have for years, a TiVo! I welcome a new DirecTiVo HD no matter what features it lacks. Anything is better than these slow DTV DVRs.

    I find my two HR's to be very slow and sluggish and the interface not as friendly as the TiVo UI. So when/if this comes out its a no brainer for me...it can't be any worse than what DTV offers.
