30'' round dish, how to get 97W and 95W at once?

So, what happens if I have signals from both satellites on one LNB? Can i use an LNB with two LNBs inside, and a wide hole to get both satellites?

    Can I get 95W and 121W with 30" dish?

Of course I have a subscription, but currently i get international channels from 148, and if i get 121, then i can get them there and subscribe to local channels. So, what is the maximum angle that a 30 inch dish can cover? What if i move the 95W lnb to the right of center (if you stand...

    Can I get 95W and 121W with 30" dish?

Hello, I am wondering if it is possible to get 95W and 121W with one 30 inch dish. I tried to position the lnb with my hand to find the spot but don't seem to be able to get any signal. Are they too far apart to be able to get strong signal for both? I have the central lnb pointed at 95W and...

30'' round dish, how to get 97W and 95W at once?

Well, getting another dish is not easier (no space for it on the balcony - the wife already getting ticked off with 3 dishes),it is probably easier to get a motor, and control it with the FTA receiver and then, put the dish back for DirectTV use for 95. Oh, well.....

30'' round dish, how to get 97W and 95W at once?

Is there any way to receive 97W and 95W with a 30 inch round dish at once (different receivers) with such a close separation between the two. Are there very small lnbs that can fit in such a close space? I don't think i want to get a motor, too much trouble. There might be a way to just get...

    Dish for directv International

From what I understand to get international channels you need to have that 36 inch oval dish you are talking about, it has two lnbs, one for 95W and another for 101W, it is the 95W (Galaxy 3C ) that requires a larger antenna. I am trying setup the same configuration, and understand we need a...

Only getting odd transponders on 101W

Ok, just ordered a new lnb for DirecTV on ebay, that shoud solve the problem. Thanks to all!

Only getting odd transponders on 101W

Ok, connected the receiver directly to the lnb, and got all of the transponders. THen i added a switch in between adn measured teh voltage, for even transponders (18 Volt connector) i measure 18.7V volt after the switch, and appearently that is not enough for my lnb, it is not switching. The...

paint a picture of the balcony/house/flower pot on your dish, so it looks transparent :| or as if this is something else.

Only getting odd transponders on 101W

I can connect each of the dual lnb connectors directly to the receiver (one at a time, of course) and each of them should be able to see both even and odd transponders, right? And if that is not the case, I need a new lnb. I will also try getting stronger signal first.

Only getting odd transponders on 101W

Well, at least they don't require you to fine tune you dish to a satellite and only then be able to configure it on your receiver - that is the case with 95W, a good thing I have an FTA receiver that I can use as a signal meter and to make sure i am looking at the right satellite (still needed...

Only getting odd transponders on 101W

I doubt this is multiswitch - i tried replacing zinwell 6802 with zinwell 3x4 switch, with just the two wires from 101W lnb, no 95W in the picture, and I got the same exact thing - only odd transponders. If I connect the lnb directly without any switches, i should be able to eliminate the switch...

Only getting odd transponders on 101W

That is not fun, and is too easy (although costs 80 dollars) :) Besides, my balcony would be too crowded with all these antennas. I think following their pattern and placing 101W lnb on a larger dish should work. What what I was able to see on other forums, this is most likely caused by low signal.

Only getting odd transponders on 101W

Suppose I were to add another lnb to my 30 inch round dish, which is tuned to 95W, would the fact 101 and 95 are located pretty close to each other be a problem.I should be able to get both of the lnbs fit and working with 6 degrees separation with a 30 inch round dish? The actual...

Only getting odd transponders on 101W

I am about to subscribe to one of the international packages coming from 95W, but will also need basic package from 101W (they require a $10 package). Why? Does it make a difference as far as getting the signal from a satellite which reflector I am going to use, same technology, right? Also...

Only getting odd transponders on 101W

New install. This with a dual lnb from Dish Network mounted on the Dish 500, right next to 110W lnb., with D11-100 receiver. Connected through a Zinwell 6802 switch. I should probably try my 30 inch round dish that I was going to use for 95W, the 101W lnb should not very far from the 95W. I bet...

Only getting odd transponders on 101W

I am only getting odd transponders at about 70-72 but no even transponders (it shows 0 for all of them), is this because of the low signal? Also, when I do an auto detect on D11-100 the test fails, says there is zero satellites, I guess this is because even transponders are not working....

Using Dish 500 to get 119W and 101W

Great, thank you very much, i will try both cases, and see where i get better signal - if the 6 degree spacing on the 30 inch dish is not going to be too crowded for the lbs ( i was going to use a regular Dish single lnb for 101), then i will just keep them together on the 30 inch dish, if not...

Using Dish 500 to get 119W and 101W

Hi, I was wondering if someone could please help me with this. I have a Dish 500 with 2 single LNBs. I want to keep 119 with the Dish Network, and also receive 101W for Direct TV. I came accross at one reference on the internet that I could just strap another LNB right next to 110 socket...
