Is there a specification on what you can and cannot get with a 6 feet cband dish?

I thought DVB-S2 was another way of saying HD or 4:2:2. Grief there are soooooo many-DVB-S2, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DVB-C2, DVD (MPEG-2), VCD (MPEG-1), SD, HD, etc. Oh no, what am I missing on G-16 due to my Q-box not getting DVB-S2???

    White Springs is missing again

Never watched it but liked having it in the lineup. It was a great idea that they never followed up on. Commercials between the movies and a loyal fan base that would support the advertisers. BUT the movies they started out with two years ago stank and they rarely put on any new ones. Ok, it...

    Question

Yep. Direct and Dish use circular LNBs and FTA LNBs are linear. You would need a FTA receiver and dish for most FTA stuff. Sadoun Satellite Sales (1-888-519-9595) www.galaxy-marketing.com No reason you can't do both, FTA & Direct TV. FTA is like baking your own bread instead of having it...

    Help with my poor Bud

If the BUD cable and the KU both end at the Coolsat, hook up the diseqc switch there. Then run a cable from the switch to the Coolsat. Not sure of the menu setting for the Coolsat, never seen one before. Should work....

    Help with my poor Bud

:ok::hatsoff:@party:up Ya might want to make sure there is anything on vertical you want before go to the trouble of getting vertical. At the dish run the output of the KU dish to the diseqc switch. Then hook up the C-band to the switch also. This way there is only one feed in the 75' run...

You close man, real close! If your getting the Energizer Reverend, then you will get the GDMX mux when you do a digital blind scan with your Coolsat. Your polarity, seeing the reverend is vertical. The Island networks (This-TV, ABC,CW Network, NBC and Fox) are horizontal. :D

    Help with my poor Bud

On your pic of your LNB there are three wires coming out of the blue box- black, red & white. On the back of your GI 550i hook the red wire to the +5, white to pulse and black to ground. Then you can set the polarity anywhere you want. On the menu of the GI 550i hit 4- Sat Adjustment then 5...

@party The (PTB)' Power That Be' has spoken! Yeah, some regular NBC programming is all that's been on.
