    Occasional pixilation and sound distortion only on certian channels.

    Bump I have the same problem on my local channels. I will get noise distortion or my picture will go black for a few seconds. There's been no problems with my equipment or connections. Happens even when the weather is clear.

    My HDTV is 1080p "compatible" but does not display in actual 1080p - 1080i is the max resolution. What a rip off, I wish this was more clearly explained to me beofre I bought it. anyways, check your owners manual and see if that the same with yours. Edit: I wish I knew that before investing...

    Yeah, I;m in the Covina area and only had short, random periods of scrambled TV. It would only last for a few seconds at a time, but several times during a show. If the problem is persistent, tyr makign sure the supports for the dish are stable and the cable isn't under too much stress.
