I was just flipping through my DVR List and my schedule. It seems that all the shows recorded on tuner #1 seems to be named incorrectly for me. These are all recorded using NBR (new & all). I never had a manual timer (selected from guide) record under the wrong name. I haven't used Dish Pass yet.

You can leave it on.. It will show a countdown telling you when it's about to change the channel to record the show... If you try to change the channel once it starts recording, it will warn you that if you do this, it will stop recording and give you an "OK/Cancel" choice.

Interesting that you should mention Battlestar Galactica.. I discovered an interesting facet to our NBR.... I'm not sure if it was mentioned before. I wanted to set up a timer for the new series. I found the new episode this friday in the guide and accidently clicked on "all episodes."...

I believe its a variable bitrate as they warn that different shows will take up different amounts of space depending on how much action.

It used to only be a playback issue... Now it seems to be on live TV as well. At least it's not freezing for me, just a audio dropout followed by pixelation. It's also storing it that way, since it's still there when I do a rewind.

Anyone check to see if this (skipping new shows) is happening on DirecTivo's? Maybe the TV channel is listing it wrong.

2.32 seems to have fixed my system.... I no longer have any audio pops/squeaks/sync/glitches whatsoever... I still have a couple of video glitches, 3 or 4 per show, but that could be a reception problem... My signal strength averages in the mid 70s.

You can say "all shows" but it won't record if it thinks that its a duplicate.. Sorta like if you record "Trading Spaces" :mad: that comes on 7 times a day you don't want 7 copies of the same thing each day, but they still give you the option to override it, which is a great feature, I think.

I have one occurance of this... I have it set to record every episode and it skips some of them on occasion when I know for a fact that it is different... I have to constantly look at the schedule and "unskip" each one... I doubt that it only looks at the description as there are so many...

I have no problem with it.. I go to the Timers menu in the Schedule, select the timer, press "Delete". It pops up just one more menu that shows all instances of that timer in the current schedule where you have to press "delete" or "Ok" or something like that.. Just one extra step.
