    To be honest, you guys are right. Over the long run, VOOM is more important than 1 crappy ESPN2 HD which doesnt always broadcast in HD. I'm just a little angry that I didn't watch the whole World Cup on HD last summer and will be angry if by next summer I can't watch Euro 2008 in complete HD...

    i tried that but nothing happened?? it just goes to the guide... EDIT: so the tv has to be off... anyway, these other formats dont do anything for me? if i leave it on 480p then its wrong... i can only switch it by manually going and switching it... i want it to do that by itself if possible...

    We now changed out tv to a tv that doesnt automatically stretch or keep it in widescreen. I was wondering, is there any way on the cable box to program it to stretch a 4:3 picture into widescreen and to keep a widescreen picture as it is without having to change it constantly manually?

    thanks! these settings are good. the only thing i dont like is that its a little too dark. but i just put the color slightly higher and the brightness slightly higher. also, how come you put the sharpness at such a low level? i seem to like it when its at 6 because its more crisp

    4250 hd box

    just want to say that yesterday i changed 4200HD to 4250HD and the mnus are definitely faster. less pain-in-the-ass also... if its easy for u i would suggest everyone change to it.
