Ok, I have a reciever that keeps searching for satellite. But when i do a reset from the menu, it wont search anymore and i will get programming. But then after alittle while it will search for signal again. Now i hooked the reciever up in another room that has a line run to it and it works...

Can i use a diplexer, if i want to hook up a digital cable box and satellite, in a room that has a wall connector, and there is no way i can run a new cable.

I used binoculars to look up at my lnbs of my dish, and all three of them have a little bit of ice on each one, could that be the reason why the signal is out. I have deduced , it is not my splitter, because i directly connected a wire from the lnb to a wire to a receiver and no signal None...
