Well the 99 and 103 are only 2 degrees left and right of the 101 with a 1 and 2 degree elevation difference so if your not shooting through a small hole in a tree line you should be ok getting those sats.

Chances are high that it will be a SWM with 5 tuners, but not always. D* has told HSP (Install companies) that if the customer requests SWM with less than 6 Tuners to charge $129 for the SWM LNB and components. A lot of it also depends on what type of receivers the HSP has in stock at the time...

yea the cable needs to ba able to pass up to 2.2ghtz and 18 volts for sat to work, cable operates at a much lower frequency. If it is RG6 then generally it will be fine. If you have 2 DVR's then even chances are high the tech will use SWM, but it is still a gamble.

Try the Sony's HD settings and turn Dynamics off, and set teh Zoom rate to normal. Also make sure you have 720p and 1080i selected with Native On and Let the D* box control the Sony. Not everything looks better with a bigger number.
