I had a similar probplem I had old wiring from dish to reveiver they sent a tech out changed all wiring put new lnb on dish and a new 222k receiver, basically a new install all is well know. by the way all was done at no cost to me. 14 year customer may have something to do about getting that...

Oddly enough same thing happened to me on a new 222K. called Dish and the same installer came back and he replaced the receiver. No trouble since Knock on Wood it's been 3 weeks

I also got it with no commitment. Also Dish now offers automatic down grade, at the end of the 3 months they will take it off your account automaticly.
