Am I supposed to be able to hook up my Dish Network Receiver to the AV Receiver?

I have, when I considered getting the new kindle fire which is why I said I'm not sure there's much I want to stream. I DO watch a lot of tv and movies. I'd like the faster shipping but it's against my damn principles to may MONEY to get it faster. Ie, the premium fee.

Am I supposed to be able to hook up my Dish Network Receiver to the AV Receiver?

So, if I hook the dvi/hdmi cable to my receiver, I WILL get picture from my computer, right? Can I then hook up the sound from my sound card to the receiver too?

Am I supposed to be able to hook up my Dish Network Receiver to the AV Receiver?

I have the WD TV. What can I stream? I've seen damn near everything there is to see... I check out the schedule on dish and rarely do I found something (like a movie at least) that I haven't seen :(

Am I supposed to be able to hook up my Dish Network Receiver to the AV Receiver?

Alright guys, we're going to find out if it's the cables. I ordered three of the ones Bobby suggested and bought a 25' DVI to HDMI cable for my puter. IF I plug the dvi/hdmi to the receiver, will I get sound AND picture from the computer on the tv or do I have to go straight to the tv? Also...

Am I supposed to be able to hook up my Dish Network Receiver to the AV Receiver?

Alright guys, I thought I'd post an update. I gave up on the Denon and ordered a Pioneer 1122-k Well, I plugged everything up and it worked like charm...but wait, there's more. I turn it off and the next day, I turn it on and I get sound but NO picture from the dish source. I have to unplug...

Am I supposed to be able to hook up my Dish Network Receiver to the AV Receiver?

I was wondering if this amplifier will somehow allow me to use an external eq?

Am I supposed to be able to hook up my Dish Network Receiver to the AV Receiver?

Awesome but that's even more money for more stuff that I have no need for or can't use. Hell, I can't even get the simplest ones to work for me :( By the way, the 1122-k DOES play the Dish DVR although there's something funky with the sound. Like there's a bad connection.

Am I supposed to be able to hook up my Dish Network Receiver to the AV Receiver?

Here's a question guys. If I get one of these, can I use this one in between an AV receiver and an external Equalizer in order to connect the two together? http://www.meritline.com/high-performance-speaker-headset-stereo-amplifier---p-91261.aspx Thanks George

Am I supposed to be able to hook up my Dish Network Receiver to the AV Receiver?

Not gonna happen. I have a total reading comprehension problem and my attention span is that of a fruit fly so no, that's a waste of time for me. Thanks though

Am I supposed to be able to hook up my Dish Network Receiver to the AV Receiver?

So, do people that own Denon's call them Danny's? If so, I don't like it. Just doesn't sound right. So, still waiting for a reply with an opinion of whether (other than the price) to do the Yammi 373 new or Pioneer 1122-k open box. 2 years of warranty vs 1 year for the Pioneer

I guess I could make the effort if it makes you feel better...

Anything that compares the 1122 to the yammis?

Am I supposed to be able to hook up my Dish Network Receiver to the AV Receiver?

673 and 475 are the cheapest that do it. What about yamaha vs pioneer quality? I just ordered an open box 1122-k for 314. (I can still cancel it though) Could have gotten a regular one, NOT open box for 349. Did I mess up? Yammi has longer warranty

Am I supposed to be able to hook up my Dish Network Receiver to the AV Receiver?

I might give that a shot but with my track record, it's not going to even update but I may give it a shot tonight. So, the Yammi 373 or the 1122? Getting ready to place an order right now? I can sill return everything if I want to. Getting really tired of this and may just order more than one...

Am I supposed to be able to hook up my Dish Network Receiver to the AV Receiver?

No, haven't updated any firmware. Have tried different hdmi inputs They sent me out a new receiver to try, same thing. At this point, I'm just gonna return it and be done with it and when and if I get something I'm going to try another brand.

Am I supposed to be able to hook up my Dish Network Receiver to the AV Receiver?

Well, something's clearly very wrong with my body. I'm way too overweight. My ears are not as fat though...go figure. I didn't say I was going to use the whole 10-12 range, it was just that I have an option. For most stuff, a flat curve or just adjusting the bass on the front works great, but...

Am I supposed to be able to hook up my Dish Network Receiver to the AV Receiver?

Well, here's my problem. I'm pretty sensitive to a lot of bass and it bothers me and on some things, I can only turn it down so much and then I run out. IF I have an eq, I can do another 10-12 decibels which really helps a lot and gives me options. My speakers sound great but keep in mind that...

Am I supposed to be able to hook up my Dish Network Receiver to the AV Receiver?

That's kinda what I figured and yeah, manual sucks and the pioneer tech had no idea about the frequencies or how you did it or anything but then, that was expected. So, despite the warranty go with a Pioneer?

Am I supposed to be able to hook up my Dish Network Receiver to the AV Receiver?

Well, well, well. I think the 1122 MIGHT have the eq option. Here's the manual on the 1022 and it seems there is NO eq option and mind you, this is another reason I looked at other brands. The 1122 was too much money at the time and really still IS, but, after this fiasco, I may have to rethink...
