thanks for all the suggestions, i emailed the ceo. i am in a valley open to the west but the locals are east-80 miles, north 60 miles and south. i spoke with a guy about antennas and really looking at a lot of money.

short of building or buying at least a 30 foot tower there is NO WAY i can get ota's in my area.

re: ota's, i've tried the websites to determine an appropriate antenna and i get an icon laughing his ass off. if there was some sort of satellite?- but i digress. i will try that email. thanks

only tv?

so i find out i get fox hd out of madison but i need a wing dish or whatever. contact dish and get it set up- soonest is 2 weeks. get home yesterday and no locals on my tv. call dish- they're not sure what's going on, after 20 minutes the guy "figures it out", another 20 minutes and "almost...

dish said locals for madison, wi hopefully by august 1st, well that came and went. spoke with station directors from fox and abc and neither had any contact with dish nor anything in the future planned. wtf?????

it was the "#or*" button. i had tried it before on the 32" but i was using the wrong remote. it looks so much better.

forgot about that button, i will give it a try tonight. i realize tv aspect matters- i should have said i tried all my tv aspect options and none made a change in how much of the picture i could see (besides zoom of course, i loose half the picture then) thanks

i have a 722. the tv aspect doesn't matter. what are some of the receiver changes? i can't find the stretch/zoom settings? thanks

especially on espn news hd- they have extras on left side- scores, stats, other info. i can only see 10% of it, it is cut off. i've tried changing from16x9 to 4x3 and it keeps the same aspect. i've tried changing my tv settings and besides making the image larger or stretched, i still see...

any news? also- when i watch espn hd's i can't see the whole screen, i have tried all the adjustments on the receiver and tv and nothing helps. i have an hd lcd 26" and a 32" hd both show the same thing. thanks

when and what channels

1st tv is hdmi

the output on the big tv (only a 32" hdtv) is 1080, the small tv is a 26" lcd hdtv. size is not that much different but the hd looks identical on each tv but i thought the coax out to tv 2 couldn't do hd?? thanks

i have the 722, the second tv is a LCD. now, the second tv is not supposed to have hd but the hd channels are much clearer and come in better than the hdmi out to my big screen? any reason why?

i didn't think you could record ppv movies??? i thought they could only be paused or fast forwarded?

i am recording 2 shows at 7pm tonight on a 722 but my wife wants to watch a ppv movie- is this possible or will one of my shows not record?? thanks in advance
