hd question

i have the 722, the second tv is a LCD. now, the second tv is not supposed to have hd but the hd channels are much clearer and come in better than the hdmi out to my big screen? any reason why?

Is your 722 set to output 720 or 1080 to your big screen? That is, is it set to output something other than 480?

Anything, even HD, will look sharper on a smaller screen, but HD shouldn't look worse than SD.

the output on the big tv (only a 32" hdtv) is 1080, the small tv is a 26" lcd hdtv. size is not that much different but the hd looks identical on each tv but i thought the coax out to tv 2 couldn't do hd??

You can have the receiver set to 1080, but not have the HD running to the tv, what connection are you using the the tv? You only list coax run to the second tv.
