Just to make myself clear.... I have charter internet and get a few channels until they switch to digital. The channels for charter sounds 10 times better. The Blu Ray player sounds wonderful and is about 20 times better. Hulu Plus also has better sound. Amazon Prime has better sound then dish...

Maybe Disney does not get more money. It might be that dish starts running targeted banner ads to customers using autohop. (ie Hulu Plus) Could the hopper watch your internet traffic and start advertising to you by what you are looking at on the internet? Who knows.... But I think it will not...

2 hoppers and 2 joeys might work a little better. If your family/ roommates are going to watch multiple (3 or More) TVs at the same time.

Dish got it fix after a few hours. Guide data was damaged. Just a fyi in case anyone else has problems.

Sounds like you need 2 Hoppers and 2 Joey so you can record 6 different thing at a time or 5 and primetime anytime.

I am somewhat dissatisfied with it. I have software 217. I need to restart my Joey every time I want to watch TV using it. I also sometimes have problems with the hopper. it is not as stable as earlier software..... I guess I more dissatisfied with 217 then the hopper it self. I have love ptat...
