Hooper Starts recording and will not quit.

I am on s221. I have 1 hopper and 1 joey.

Yesterday the Hooper would start recording on of my daughter's shows and never quit. By the time prime time any time was to start all 3 tuners where taken. Guide shows as normal but the dvr schedule show everything as "no information available". I can manual stop the recording but as soon as anther starts it will take over the turners. My daughter has Mickey mouse clubhouse set to record new one and record all of them even if the dvr all ready has it. I have tried to restarted the hopper by button reset and power cord and check switch. Nothing will cause the hopper to download the guide info.

Dish wants to replace the hopper.... I prefer I different solution.
Any suggestions?

If you reset the receiver and the problem persisted, you may want to replace the receiver.

Dish got it fix after a few hours. Guide data was damaged. Just a fyi in case anyone else has problems.
