I upgraded yesterday to 250 plus platinum in the hopes of trying EPIX but i received all the channels in the package except EPIX. Support said they are having problems with some customers not getting this channel and said they are working on it. Has anyone else had this problem getting EPIX.

I did it yesterday with offshore csr.

I called dish yesterday and did away with most of my channels. I have no need for premium movie packages or rsn. I got the Turbo Gold along with locals and this gives me more of what i watch without paying over 100 each month and my savings are about 35 a month

just my HD channels not my sd channels

i had E over a few weeks ago because i was losing signal on my HD channels only and they put a new lnb and adjusted my 61.5 dish and since then my picture on the HD channels goes blank and the screen turns yellow for about 5 seconds then the picture comes back and this happens a few times during...

I have had the same problems with my HD channels only and called dish yesterday and went thru their mtrouble shooting and was told that my dish needes to be adjusted due to slight movement and are sending a repair person on thursday.

just signed up for it today and also got a reduction in my bill according to the csr of 10 dollars a month. The csr was one of the best I have had but not have had any problems with any csr in the past and the programing was on as soon as i hung up the phone.

Has anyone noticed that the Big 10 is no longer in our guide? I posted a thread a few months back that I had the sci-Fi and USA mapped after TBSHD but was told that was impossible. Could this be the slots foe 4 new HD channels ?

On std tv guide usa and SciFi channels are not listed one after the other and these were listed one after the other after TBSHD

I was only checking HD channels and there was no listed shows except one starting at 1PM on one of the 2 channels.

While setting up my new Samsung DLP and checking picture quality about 1PM today I am sure that i saw both listed one above TBSHD today with a 1PM program and when i checked later it was not there. Did anyone else see this or was i dreaming?

A friend of mine just bought a Vizio 32" and the picture looks great. The sales person at sears said that these are being made by Sony. I have no idea if this is true.

can someone post which dma market is getting their locals in HD

I live in the Portland Maine area and was considering going to Direct because they carry locals in HD and today without any notice from dish i am receiving HD locals i would assume because they are in the 7000 numbers. Any one else on my area notice the added channels.

Charlie also said that Direct was going to get a percentage of ownership of the New MLB network in 2009 and they are not offering the same deal to Dish Network for some type of percentage ownership and he wants the same exact deal as Direct.

Will there be any HD feed from any of the distants?

Have you read the manual book thorouhly? It takes you step by step either in single or dual mode.

Received my rebate within two weeks of they received my 942

does anyone know the actual number of E customers that have DVR"S? I know i have talked to a number of people and they do not seem interested in one and are happy with a standard receiver

received my rebate without sending in any forms and got credit within less than 2 weeks

Just called E about the 49 dollar handling fee and it was for the 211 upgrade that i did along with my 622 but was billed in two seperate months. I would think they would have put it as the payment for the 211 instead of saying it is a handling fee.

I just viewed my current bill on line and I have been given a $200 credit for the return of my 942 after getting my 622 but there is a $49 handling charge on my bill. Is everyone getting charged this for returning there receivers?

I just cannot see paying 10 dollars more per month to upgrade from silver to gold for just one more HD channel

I did hear them mention the rebate and could only upgrade 2 receivers to MPEG4 at the present time

The grass on the other side of the fence will turn brown real fast. I took a deal with Adelphia and just came back with E. The Analog channels were horrible and the digital was only slightly better. I will admit that it was nice to have locals in HD but overall I will never go back to cable.
