also check to make sure its connected to the "analog cable" input and not a "digital cable" input. ive noticed some of the newer tvs with inputs marked that way, and it doesnt work on the "digital cable" input.

i dont think they worry too much on the "service address" as much as they do the "billing address". reason i say this, on my last install, customer didnt have a physical address (20 miles out in the desert) CSR said to make something up to put in the comp, as long as they had a legit billing...

just finished an install here in Kingman, Az. our locals come in on the 119 tp5 spotbeam, and out signal peaked at 125 on a 311 with dish 500. 119 tp11 and 119 tp19 were 110-113.

my guess would be the DPPtwin lnb portion of the dish1000 went out. weve been running into this alot lately on the dish1000s installed in the last month.

what ive done in situations where the #2 remote was out of range, was added a piece of coax between the antenna and the receiver, then put the antenna in a "higher" or "closer" location to the #2 tv.

are you by chance usin the HDMI connection on the 622?? if so you may be experiencing one of the many problems with the HDMI. if youre usin the component connection, maybe someone else would have a solution.

the HD dual tuners (622's) are tv1 HD, tv2 SD...with dvr on both sides. they dont make a dual tuner with HD on both sides. <edit> the dual tuner w/o the dvr feature would still be tv1HD, tv2SD...but those are yet to be seen.

nope, when either tv1 or tv2 is recording, you either watch what is being recorded, or watch something that has already been recorded.

sounds like ya need a 622. the phone line fee is $5 / month. the only difference in the HD channels by package would be w/wo locals, or w/wo movie channels (ie. HBO, Showtime, and Starz.

from what i understand, the HDMI issue is an ongoing problem with the receivers. there have been plenty of complaints about it.

imo, id swap the receivers and see if the problem follows the receiver or not.

also the DP twin doenst have the 3rd input connection that the DPP lnb does, so you would have to use a switch of somesort to connect to get 110, 119 and 129.

with the exception that a dish1000 wont give you 4 hook-ups. i dont see why it shouldnt work.

well i just checked the signals on those transponders here at the store (in kingman, az) and i only get a signal on the 27 (spotbeam) of 75. all others didnt register any signal at all.

yes, the DishProPlus lnb will work with your 301, youll just have to run a switch check after it replaces the DishPro lnb. <edit> unless youre using a DishPro quad lnb, than youll need to replace it with another DishPro quad
