Activated EHD today and had no problems moving videos from 622 to the drive or playing them back, but when I connected the HD to the 722k and attempt to access it tells that the HD is formatted for another dish dvr and must be formatted for this device losing all media stored on device. Any tips.

My new 722K was installed only one little problem they forgot the OTA tuner, but said they would be out Friday to install (had to order) other than that am pleased with the unit. Now what external Harddrive would you all suggest for additional storage and to move recording from my 622 to the 722?

When we upgraded to HD in April 06 (Ann Arbor Area), instead of a Dish 1000 as per work order the installer choose to install a 500 for 129. Have had no problems with reception, but wife not happy over 2nd dish, but is happy HGDD.

Installed 4/10/06 so far so good. No problems to note. I never realized the difference between sd and hd until now. Now if dish puts the resolution back to 1080 it will be great.:)
