Yeah, that's important.... I am just outside of Dallas, too.... IA5 is our true south bird... you have to work really hard to NOT get IA5 here... several of the transponders peg the quality meter for me here. :D

Back when I had Direcway, they had me pointed at Satmex5... they only put customers in the South on that bird, and that was with their big 1 meter dish. Others were assigned G4R or AMC9 or a think there is another one out there, too.

CharredPC, That 3rd pic.... that's the same antenna I use for my 2.4 Ghz wireless connection from my internet provider. I get 92% link quality from a tower 8 miles away with it.

I don't think that was a hack question.... to get free X TV legitimately, you have to buy a CAM. Free X TV is the name of the station... he merely asked where to buy the access card. At least that's how it appears to me...

Check your alignment.... I get around 100 TV channels, and many radio stations from T5 (IA5).

I am in fringe area for analog tv reception also, but I get a very strong lock on all the digital stations where I am... Very snowy analog, but crystal clear HD OTA... How big was your antenna?
