I got mine working on c and ku band but I took it down and put up the 10 footer cause it was too sloppy. It got from 72 to 137w

Yeah but if u read what he was asking for, which was cable like channels, he isn't gonna find that for a family with that setup. I tried it for awhile but still had to get a 922 so the kids could watch some toons lol. PBS plays the same stuff over and over.

Well not a whole lot. To me I'd rather get a microhd. It does make the maps a whole lot better though. He was saying run it in a virtual machine (vm) of windows xp. If you have a intel Mac, which I don't think you do , and run parallels or fusion.

I had the same dish before I got my 10 foot Sami put up. Look for threads by me and I have some very long threads with pics. Also I'm selling my dsr 922 now as my sub has ran out and had to get dish installed for the wife. I'm keeping the 10 footer for fta though. Even with mapmaster I don't see...

Yes I had to buy a splitter a non power passing 2 way. I let the 4d change polarity as on analog channels u just have to press channel up down lol. I have the same setup friend

The 9500 is a hd box. It uses the same Ali chipset as the sathawk you mentioned. It does do skew control and manual pid entry that the sathawk does not. I havnt used it as I have a s9, but have been thinking of getting one. The 9200 is a good box but I know little on that one. I think the 9500...

Also ice when blind scanning I've been getting horizontal transponders when clearly I'm on a 4d vertical channel or vice versa sometimes.

So I'm using the 4d to change openbox polarity. I'm using a dmx 741u. So as long as I don't put the 4d on a ku sat tile when on the openbox I'll be ok. I'm using a gbox to move the dish I like it better
