Yeah, that's really it for me. I'm perfectly happy without Dish for now, but I'm mostly interested in keeping my receivers and recordings preserved in case I decide to go back to Dish at some point in the next year.

They can replace hardware all they want, but I don't think it is going to solve the problem. They are wasting the time of techs and customers by not addressing the underlying software issue.

I'm almost there myself. I can't believe we are still dealing with this, but I don't dare call Dish and waste my time with the general troubleshooting runaround, when we all know this is almost certainly a software issue.

That is interesting insight, but unfortunately not anything that I can act on. All my added OTA channels have relatively strong signals, but they aren't immune to the occasional blip. I'm almost to the point where I'm just going to unplug the OTA adapter and learn to live without it.

Judging by this post, there is probably only one channel that you watch anyway.

You can reboot the Hopper from the Joey, so you don't have to leave your bedroom. But I agree, I hope we get an update soon.

I wouldn't assume that the 4K Joey doesn't have the issue. That was my anecdotal experience, but my 4K Joey doesn't get used as often as my Joey 2.0, so it may just be that I haven't used it enough to run into the problem. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

Increasingly over the past few months, the Joey 2.0 in my bedroom becomes unwatchable with the program freezing, hitching, and/or going in slow motion. Changing channels doesn't help, and rebooting the Joey doesn't fix it either. The only thing I have found that makes it work again is to reboot...
