You'll have to buy a regular sling box or get dish to upgrade your receiver and throw in a Dish sling.

You do have a DVR? You can record 2 OTA network channels from the Satalite on it now. I can record 4 OTA network channels on my 722K.

I've complained about this. Dish needs to add tuner preference to single mode. Only work around now is to put STB in dual mode. Then you can set default tuner to #1. This however creates other problems for those used to single mode.

This is why government must mandate a la carte as an option. For one, I don't need to pay (and shouldn't have to) for my local channels. I get them OTA.

ESPN needs to be made a premium channel. Dish tell Disney it's the only way you'll carry it. You'll be another $10 a month cheaper than all other providers that bow down to ESPN. They'll lose all their Dish revenue and Dish would get all those who aren't willing to pay for ESPN. I'd bet that is...

Don't watch anything live. Start recording it and then watch it. This goes for you and your Grandmother. I assume you have the HD set and that is why you don't put her on TV1. Get her an HD set and put her on TV1! If you are only watching streaming from the Sling, you'll be getting HD also.

The 722Ks don't have an OTA in unless the OTA module is installed. Maybe you are referring to the RF antenna in for the remote. I specifically ordered an 722K with the OTA module and the installer hooked it up, after calling the shop to bring it (OTA module) out because he didn't have it on his...

In the interim, try hooking up to a router behind your router. Worked for me. This was suggested by Dish for a known Uverse problem they blame on Uverse.
