I have a 722 vip and i just got the dish anywhere. It works decent how ever i had to unplug my 500 gig hard drive. So basically my question is, can i buy one of the usb thingys that makes 1 usb port into 2 or 3 or what ever and will it work so my hard drive and slingbox work simultaneously? fletch

Dosent dish do the those 10 hd channels on a few spotbeams for ak and hawaii? So you can use a 30" to get them? Back in AK we had to use a 6' for the 110 for reliable reception.

Track vision can only see one satellite at a time and they are set to get the 119. you will never "see" more than one satellite at a time with a trac vision. They are made for mobile use not stationary.

You can get the 148 with a 30 inch dish with stellar signal. youll need a 1m for the 119 for high 70's low 80's on the 119 and you can go 4' but i reccomend 6' for the 110. and that barely gets you mid 70's but it dosent go out when it decides to rain and we know how much that happens in...

assuming you have a widescreen tv your hd programming is now being show as it should in 16:9 widescreen format. Where as your SD programming is still in 4:3 aspect ratio format and unless you stretch it out it will have bars on the side. Im not sure what a 411 receiver is (maybe an 811...

calling 1800 333 dish is a giant pain in the rear. Since i got audited i call that number and bug em there. Get some one i can understand everytime. Some times i call the retailer activation line as well...

Just moved to MN, st cloud area. Have only 119 orbital location. Not getting my local channels. Dish CSR who i could barely understand says theyre on the 110 orbital. Just wondering if someone can confirm that for me? If i have to repoint my dish to watch the divison championships, So be it! thanks.

All ya gotta do is get xtsy for a couple of months and dvr everything. 27.99 a month but its filthy and by far the best channel dish network offers. Course i havent checked out the new channels...

Pixalation is unacceptable. If i lived in america i would do the 129 with a 30 inch seperate dish and i bet that would take care of your signal issues. Consider yourselves lucky cause i cant even get that bird to pull any signal with a six foot channel master up here in the ol ak. Hell on that...
