I actually called Dish again and got no help. However, he did credit my account the amount I paid for Extra Innings, and told me to go buy MLBTV..... so you're right, they have no clue..... And I have no baseball.

The season hasn't even started yet. Don't get me wrong, I am a big fan of Spring Training, but its not THAT big of a deal. Dish is behind EVERYONE else in this matter, but so what. Is it worth missing a few Spring Training games over?

I saw it was available to order when I signed up. Also, it will be the same or cheaper than last year do to a class action settlement. I do MLB.TV and got a notice about this. Said it affected both MLB EI & .TV. My MLB TV is $20 cheaper than last year.

Since the Hopper 3 just came out, and the Dish Anywhere iPad app hasn't been updated since December 3rd, I'd say there are a few bugs on both ends to be worked out.

I can't answer you're question directly, but as a brand new Dish customer myself, I've found the iPad app to be very helpful in setting up recordings. There is a way to do what you're asking on it, along with a search feature. Honestly, because it's so easy, I really haven't messed with using...
