Ok first I saw the NBC hd channels there but I don't get them & I also swear I saw 2 FOX HD channels but now they're gone. Are they going to bring them back ? Also is DirecTV going to charging us more for the NBC HD feeds ? They already charge me $2.50 per month for the 2 CBS HD channels

Gluck75, that is because your using the "all" channels guide click the Guide button twice scroll down & chose custom. You will then only see the channels that you did not chose to have hidden.

I live in Milpitas,CA & when I called DirecTV they tolf me I needed to pay an additional $2 or $2.50 (I can't remember) for the 4 additional CBS channels 80, 81, 280 & 281 but what the deal with channel 80 half of the time its off "no signal" in la-la land

Does anyone else ever notice that the HTL-HD freezes up once in a while while doing a channel search it just stops scanning the channels. When this happens I'll need to exit out of the guide in order to proceed.

me 3 Yesterday channel 80 was down too 380 was fine but 80 was no signal but with high signal strength, today it looks fine ?? go figure

But don't you need a tripl LNB dish for HD programming including football ? I don't understand how you could receive a signal from sat 101 but not 110 & 119 ? Aren't they like right next to each other in the same direction in the sky ?

On my Hughes HTL-HD I have to chose DVI/RGB or Y, Pb, Pr and it also has on at all time optical audio, 2 sets of A/V RCA yellow, red & white outputs, S-video & two additional inputs for cable & OTA ANT the the loop thru coax connection.

If DirecTV didn't ground it when they installed it tell them that after last nights thunderstorm it doesn't work & I noticed there's no ground cable installed maybe they'll set-up & correct for free their installers mistake ?
