So I got the SL5-SWM from Solid Signal and installed it on the dish. But the receiver doesn't see an SWM with that LNB. I put the old one back on, and that one is visible to the receiver and connects. I know that only one cable connects to the LNB, but I really don't see a power inserter...

I think that I'll order the SL5-SWM LNB from Solid Signal. It looks like a direct replacement.

I've had satellite TV since 2004. I don't know about the other big lies, but rain fade is a thing for me. If I didn't have OTA to fall back on I'd have gone back to cable long ago.

I've gotten Sunday Ticket from Directv without asking for the last two years, and I've never been charged.

Always best to have an OTA antenna to tide you over.
