Same thing happens every time we have a guest stay over :D

It actually shows replays, rugby and sky sports news 24/7. 621-1 was never an active channel until yesterday. It looks like the 621-1 channel will pickup the live HD feeds for FSC+ matches according to the EPG. I doesn't look like it will be a 24/7 HD channel at this time

FSC HD on 619 is live as of this morning on my box.:cool: I had to re-add the channel on my favorite channel list. No sign of FSC+ in HD though. There is an alternate to the alternate FSC+ on the guide now 621-1 and 622.

Funny enough, when Dish dropped GolTv it made me switch to DirecTv :D Dish lost a $130/month account and Direct Tv gained one

I had to re-add the 620 channel to my favorites when it went live. There are a couple of banner ads as well on the EPG Just waiting on FSC and FSC + now :up

I'm trying to figure this out as well. I didn't even know Gol TV was launching a HD channel until it got announced here. Since it's the end of the EPL/ Serie A seasons anyways, Direct TV may just wait until it starts again in August before launching it in HD so they can get other channels up...

Comcast Bay Area now has more HD premiums than Direct TV and they are terrible. My patience is really starting to wear thin with Direct TV. They could at least give us an estimate of when and what channels we will be getting.

Too late to edit the original with the bad grammar. It shows up on the guide listing as FSP. Just a side note: The Setanta Alternate Ch still resides at 622. Setanta had stopped showing the alternate matches on this channel late in 2009. No SPL replays in the guide. Not that I want to see...

Me too. Just a note. If you may have to add it again to your channel list. It was not on the guide this morning but was available at 621

According to the D* twitters it will launch on the same channel (621) as Setanta, be the same price/month as Setanta and if you already have a sub for Setanta you will automatically get FSC+. HD would be nice but at least we haven't lost anything

Ironically, I switched from Dish to Direct TV because Dish killed off GOL TV. I'm in the same boat as you. I'll ride it out until the new season starts and switch to whoever has the most coverage in HD UNLESS D* ends up not carrying FSC+ at all starting March 1st (when Setanta goes dark). Then...

Since I haven't heard it I have no idea what they are playing. I assume it's a mix of Trad and the new age Celtic stuff (which I personally can't stand). It would be great if they mixed trad, rebel and rock together butI'm sure once I finally get the station it will be Danny Boy on continuous loop
